About Melanie
Melanie is an Associate Attorney in our Delmont office, where she focuses her practice on estate and asset protection planning, as well as Medicaid eligibility for long-term care.
Melanie is a 2022 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law and brings valuable experience in estate planning and administration. Most recently, she served as an Associate Attorney at Tucker Arensberg, P.C., where she drafted complex trusts, wills, and powers of attorney, and facilitated client signing meetings. She has also gained experience at several other firms throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio, developing her skills in estate planning documents, probate administration, and real estate matters. While at Duquesne, she also gained hands-on experience drafting estate plans for community members through the Wills and Healthcare Decisions Clinic.
Melanie is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Prior to law school, Melanie earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Huntington University with three majors: English Creative Writing, History with an emphasis in pre-law, and Political Science.
Before law school, Melanie worked with Special Education students at the elementary and high school levels. Originally from a small town in Ohio, Melanie now lives in Pittsburgh with her cat, Peanut.
